when buying weed you have just as likly chance that sombody sprinkled it with pcp,crystal or somthing else. you are fooling yourself if you think one habit is safer then the other, a drug is a drug, and anything can be cut with somthing unsafe. one of the biggest reasins I beleve that pressed pills contain a mixture of things is that pure mdma can be boring. its hard to dance on, and I find the expearence fairly predictable....on the plus side though you do feel a hell of alot better the next day. weed itself (as mentioned in another post)can trigger dormant mental disabillites ( and yes to be fair, so can all amphetamines) I guess I would just like you too admit (if you agree) that a pot head can be just as ignorant of what they are ingesting as somone who is taking pills..... |

The only reason why a dealer would deliberately choose a harmful substance to cut their product with, is if they are trying to poison their customers, which I maintain is very unlikely. in regards to pressed pills, once a pill is pressed, no matter how far down the latter it may go (from the guy who's manufacturing them to a runner at a party/rave/corner street) its still gonna be the same product... you know, unless you re-pressed the pills after cutting them but that doesn't make much sence. |

I feel that passage is merely saying it's not right to force an inexperienced person into anything they have no familiarity with. It's one thing to make someone aware there exists a stumbling block ahead, it's another to move the block forward two steps after telling them it's three steps away. I've only began taking mdma a month ago, I'm 30. I've been smoking weed since I was a "blind man" but I did not take mdma until I visited [ www.erowid.org ] and [ mdma.net ] and [ www.nida.nih.gov ] and [ www.streetdrugs.org ] and others.. I took off my blind man glasses and started fingering across the brail. Once i was suitably informed I still did not take the drug, as I wanted to be sure the source of it was relatively reliably pure. I did this by going through those less blind than me, since us blind folk gotta ask the seeing folk for directions sometimes.. Now that i've tried mdma, I'm exstatic. It's something I've needed for a long time, not wanted, NEEDED. It's not something I plan to abuse of course, but I see the therapeutic capabilities it has and m using it (aside from raving) at times at home in order to work on myself. Pheonix, you make good points, you do go a bit overboard tho. If you're not interested in taking mdma or other such things than don't. no need to go overboard trying to convince everyone else of their "bad" decisions. Everyone makes decisions based on their own reasons. And since you don'tknow everyone that makes you blind to those reasons. you yourself have no reasons to take pillz, and thats fine with you, so that's fine with us. We on the other hand perhaps do have reason, Understand that, and we'll understand you. |

I, too, recognize the therapeutic effects of Excstacy. It can help people deal with social anxiety and other self-limiting practices amongst other things. I am concerned, however, due to its newness as a drug and the fact that it was made by humans. But I like it nonetheless. But there is always the danger of using it as a crutch... There are plenty of good reasons why people use drugs... I sympathize with drug users.. alot, if not most of them are really intelligent people who are in alof of pain. Atleast, it's been my experience. Everyone take drugs, it's good for you! |
