Poisoning was the "highest" probable cause of Yasser Arafat's mysterious death, a leading Jordanian neurologist has said. Dr Ashraf al-Kurdi, who regularly examined the Palestinian leader, urged that a post mortem be performed. "One of the causes of platelet deficiency is poison," said Dr al-Kurdi, who examined a gravely ill Arafat in his besieged compound in the West Bank town of Ramallah two weeks ago. Arafat was flown to Paris for treatment after tests indicated he had a low count of blood platelets, components that help clotting. Although "not definitive, I believe the highest reason for Arafat's mysterious death is poisoning", al-Kurdi said. "Therefore, there should be an autopsy performed," added al-Kurdi, who had been Arafat's personal physician for the past two decades. There has been widespread speculation that Arafat could have been poisoned by Israel. Neither doctors nor Palestinian leaders have said what caused Arafat's death after days in a coma at a Paris hospital. Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom dismissed allegations that Israel killed Arafat as "scandalous and false". |

 Coolness: 121030 | first of all, it was only in 88 or 91 or so that arafat finally admitted israel has a right to exist...not to mention all his inciteful speeches in arab in the 90s, 2000 etc... english = suicide bombers hurt pal. cause, in arabic= martyrs by the millions to jerusalem...
not only that but he is the original terrorist the example from which bin laden and them operate nowadays (who were the first to hijack 3 planes at once?) oh no big deal killing 11 athletes while they sleep in 72 olympics 6 millions dead but lets ignore that, lets just continue with ridiculous conspiracy theories (9/11 was mossads fault too?) i cant believe all this bullshit, is bin laden gonna get the nobel peace prize in about 40 yrs? the degree to which everyone is brainwashed is sad...very sad... 300 million ? 100,000 $ checques to his wife in paris every month... not understanding how illogical it is that he is the leader of all palestinians but wasnt even born there shows this high level of ignorance in simple terms, it means he is egyptian, not palestinian sorry im not trying to be rude or confrontational but all this media bullshit coverage is getting on my nerves, on top of it during rememberance day !its a big slap in the face for all veterans and those honestly fighting for peace |
