What is your favorite restaurant in the city of Montreal and its surrounding areas? By restaurant I mean something propper, menu, a la carte, etc.

and I am not sure what its called but at bonaventure metro station , if you go where the train is there are these restuarants..

there is this one chinese place that has got the best general tao chicken EVER!!!!

I'll ask fred what it's called , he took me there last winter after we went record shopping :0

Jano's on st-laurent is awsome too! I always go there with Corey! Best Portuguese restauant ive been to!

I'm sort of addicted to Zing noodlery. Otherwise, " La Petite Marche " on St-Denis near Laurier. Awesome food for unbelievably low prices.

yeah a la carte means ordering individual items off of a menu, instead of ordering a "meal" (main course with vegetable,s bread, and perhaps a dessert).

I love Moishe's on St. Laurent because their steak is RIDICULOUS. And Cavalli on Peel is a pretty hype place to see and be seen. I've seen Chris Noth, Jude Law, and Ethan Hawke drinking there. It's like Globe and Bueno Notte for people with a clue.
