 Coolness: 49625 | hehe, I totally understand it and the viewpoint ze'ev. In fact, while the guy may be right up to a point, there's factors involved in making a party.
For example : DJ connections. I know Fred, and possibly another guy that could DJ an event i would ( figuratively) make. i have no budget ( you need minimum a good 2K to make a party that stands a reasonable chance to get done) because all those flyers, all this equipment and the room cost money, en avance svp. On top of that, you take coatcheck girls/dudes, money handlers, security, the need to know a few people in the scene to " promote" and frankly, unless i pull a LOT of string to do a party that some people are just gonna look at the flyer and go "Who the fuck are these guys? I'm not going to a fucking party made by nobodies" and suddenly Dave is looking down a fuckload of trouble. You know what? i'dd be game enough to try the fucking stunt just so i can tell the people like the dude above that i DID give it the old college try with my mates. In fact, i gotta go see Fred around tomorowish, maybe we'll talk about that, right fucking there. |
