it was nothing personal, i just am so sick of this negativity. im second guessing moving to mtl this summer if its just gonna be like here.

Mtlers have always seemed so much more up beat the ottawa kids... but maybe its just that they've just been high, and THIS is what theyre like when theyre not.

you know what really give me hope?

the fact that after months of withdrawl and depression and pain... that i can be happy without chems. that i can now smile just because its a beautiful day...
and not be thinking about how im gonna get money for the next party/crystal binge.

that i am free from my addiction...
at least from that bitch crystal.
She truely is the Ice Queen.

hope is more than just a way to cover the realization
that one day you will die. hope isn’t about blinding
yourself of actualities. hope isn’t about ignoring fate.
people don’t hope because they are to lazy to get
up and accomplish whatever it may be they want to.

i have hope, i do it on purpose, because for me without hope
i don’t see a point of day to day life.... and its also a way
to make yourself feel better, instead of sad, to hope for a
sunny day to come, and when it does come it almost feels even
better because you were looking forward to that day. I think
hope is essential.. and even
if you think you don’t hope, you probably do and don’t realize it....

Sketch? What sketch?
ONE, I've done speed once and power peach twice, along with ONE bump of K that aparently was weak. I barely smoke and though I'm an alcoholic, I have been taking it easy for a month.

Two:

Nihilistic oppinion?
ni·hil·ism(n-lzm, n-)
n.
Philosophy.
An extreme form of skepticism that denies all existence.
A doctrine holding that all values are baseless and that nothing can be known or communicated.
Rejection of all distinctions in moral or religious value and a willingness to repudiate all previous theories of morality or religious belief.
The belief that destruction of existing political or social institutions is necessary for future improvement.

So TWO, my post had nothing to do with nihilism. Learn what things mean other than using them as buzzwords in a feble attempt at sounding inteligent.

Three: I said it before and I will say it agai: HOPE IS FOR THE WEAK AND THE LAZY.
Hope is like people who play the lotery.
Hope is like people who are on welfare.
HOPE is nothing but whining and bitching about things instead of doing something about it.
Hope is defined as:
hope
v. hoped, hop·ing, hopes
v. intr.
To wish for something with expectation of its fulfillment.

WISHING WILL GET YOU NO WHERE. I'm sorry, but we don't live in a world with magic faries that make everything all better if we "hope" enough, unless your on a LOT of fucking acid.

And bitterness? I'm not bitter. I am realistic. I call things as they are, not as I'd like them to be, because I live in the real world. In the real world, you can't sit around and hope for something good to happen. You have to work your ass off to get what you want out of life. Doesn't mean you can't enjoy it, especially if you work towards a dream or a goal that you trully believe in.

My advice was definitley not easy to take. It was probably a bitter slap in the face. Sometimes, a good shock is what it takes to make someone do something they need to do to get their life on track. My advice was that he could sit around and mope about (I'm assuming) an ex, or he could do something about it, like see if she still loves him, or maybe he should move on as much as it'll hurt.
But either way, HOPE will get someone NOWHERE unless they get up off their ass and do something about it, which (I may have missunderstood, but) It seemed like he was not going to do anything other than mope and hope.
You have to be strong about things in life, no matter how much they may bring you down, and the only way is to be realistic about things which might not seem positive at the time, but EVERYTHING that I said is positive if you understand how to read and interpret things on more than just face value.
What I said was in no way self destructive. If it was, I would have told him to shut the fuck up and kill himself, but I didn't. I woke him up to what he had to do, even if he knew it from the begining. Sometimes people need to be reminded of the path they need to take.
And yes, there are many great things in life. Lots of things that are worth living for and worth being positive over. Friends, yeah. Familly, well, mine hate me and they get mutual treatment from me. Cheesecake is damn good. Sunsets and sunrises sitting on the mountain are one of the greatest sights on this planet.
Enjoy them. Cherish them. Live your life and enjoy it. As bitter and harsh as my coments and advice were, that is the message that lies within. Do something so you're not moping and depressed. Life is short as fuck and time passes faster than anyone can ever realise untill it's too late.

there is quite a significate difference from hoping to win the lotery and hoping your a sunny day... i think it is pretty evident that to hope for certain things is for the poor and the uninteligent... but dont be so braud because you can stretch the word out pretty far...

well, obviously there's that kind of hope, that's not really something that should affect your everyday life (Sunny day, snow melting, no rain, etc) Isn't the same kind of hope I was refering to. I was refering to a hope that's bringing you down that you are in power to decide if it'll affect you and if you can do anything to change it. Like people on welfare who don't look for a job, it's the same thing. They bitch that they can't get a job and that theyr on welfare but they don't get off their ass to look for a job, thinking their dream job will just fall in their lap.

"Nihilistic oppinion?
ni·hil·ism(n-lzm, n-)
n.

An extreme form of skepticism that denies all existence...."

"Hope is for people who can't accept that one day, you're all going to die. Everyone you know will die. Everything and everyone you care or cared for will not always be there."

Nihilism is a way of viewing the world. and there are a variety of Nihilistic attitudes/views.
and from your statements, IMO you were being a Nihilist. But i guess its a matter of perspective.

"EVERYTHING that I said is positive if you understand how to read and interpret things on more than just face value."

"I hope I will die painlessly in my sleep, but I know that's not gonna happen."
"Fucking with people's heads, yeah I do that for fun on occaision."
"Be a victim, or a victimiser."

posative, eh? if you say so.

as for living in the real world.
its all a matter of perspective.

and as for HELPING him...
dont you think that if you were actually trying to tell him something to help him you would have private messaged him, instead of trying to make him look like a child in a public forum.

I think that you were just looking for the glory of being the most bit... er... realistic jaded raver.
making people feel stupid and telling them that there is nothing worth hoping for. IS NOT HELPING.

Though your words(if worded better) would have been helpful since he does need to move forward, you were in no way helping by being so nihilistic(i said what i meant, and i meant what i said. and despite your attempts to make me feel stupid as well. i know my usage was correct.)

and yes, cheesecake is damn good.

and the problem with arguing about philosophies.
is that its all a matter of perspective.
which is as individual as you and i.

(if hope makes you so irate...)

how about rainbows and sunshine and fuzzy pink bunnies...

j/k.

but i do love sunshine.
and rainbows at the right time can brighten my day. as for the bunnies... maybe if i catch them between my headlights! Mwahahaha!
(j/k, i dont actually drive.)

anyways, i must escape this void that is ravewave and go to sleep... the mornin comes far too early.
