| Canada day celebrations are goin down this thursday...
On St Jean, i saw sum dude drive up in the parking lot, next to all the festivities. He ran to the nearest power outlet, plugged in an extension cord, pulled out two speakers from his van, and inside was his turntables n whatnot. He just started spinning in the parking lot, it was awesome!
I was thinking of driving down to the old port, or wherever there will be lots of people, and do the exact same thing.
Anybody would be welcome to spin with me, and we can just start an unanounced free party within the party!
Anybody wanna join me in this, or have any more detailed suggestions, or comments? |

| canada day is not the same thing than the st-jean-baptist. The atmosphere in the quebec is not the same but im sure there will be a lot of crazy people in the streets and lots of partys. |

| your right about the difference in atmosphere, but it doesnt matter at all.......as long as theres lots of poeple out, there's plenty of reason to power up a lil setup and have a couple dj's rock the block right out on the street, or wherever would be best!

| i have obviously gave the "legal" aspect of this kind of thing sum thought, but its not like we would push 12000 watts in a residential area.....just enough to make sum noize and shake sum ass!
plus its canada day, for shure it would werk!

| ...now that I think about it, the "sponsorship" from a store thing you posted about is a good idea. I got a friend that works at CDement, and DJs playing outside of a music shop would most definitley get the shop a lot of attention.

| Actually I remember when noah was looking for places to throw an outdoor party and he said he went to that exact square and he said there were power boxes with plugs in them unlocked right there.
Prolly for the merchants.
Its a really good idea though and i'd be down.
