PLUS i started a new job @ Spectrum and Mtropolis and Cirque Eloize today- I'm a merch girl sometimes i sell, but most of the time i count in and out and take the venue's cut I get paid 10$/hr with a 5% commission when i sell (doesnt sound like much commission but it is when it's a medium-popular band-- white stripes sold for 14 grand) AND I start a full-time summer job for Pierre Pettigrew on july 6th doing simple office work (a 10 min walk from my house SCORE!) for 13$/hr. I'm obviously looking forward to wuitting le rouet and start making fat cash |

 Coolness: 49635 | I'm the all around junior / network bloke / abuse guy / router configurator / all around network support monkey for an ISP downtown. Since we have qualified network gurus here, shit works, so 90% of the time the problem is on the customer end.
Just got raised to about 11,30$/h , and it's an ok job when you think of the things they make computer techies do over phones nowadays ( read : shit phone jobs with bullshit "performance evaluations" and all that crap for 15$ an hour ). so instead of running around like a stressed out techie, i vedge around in an environment where there is no such thing as a bullshit "performance evaluation" and surf the net a lot, while fielding calls and configurating equipment, or going on installs/repairs around town. Quality of life issue for me. Oh, and the best part of my job is having a friendly talk with the occasinoal spammers and telling him how much nicer i am than my boss,when push comes to shove. |
