don't know too many people that are into that movie, a movie that makes up for any psychedelic-prudishness.

From what I just read, i'll have to say that your THE most hardcore person i've ever read about -aside from Hunter S. Thompson; in Fear & Loathing.

Big Ups, and thanks for the Heads up.

P.S: You really should complie your posts into a book. Dubbed "Poisoned Candy."

the french dude is luis bunuel, an amazing filmmaker that stretched the boundaries of moving pictures more than anyone else in my opinion (maybe alain resnais comes close)
and the french dude is spanish by the way
check out his le charme discret de la bourgeosie and l'age d'or (i actually screened l'age d'or at a party)

I am so tempted to buy this book: [ hiddenmysteries.com ]

The abstract alone (at the link above) is an enticing read, and raises some pretty far-out questions.

Anyone has it?

i read it; theres some interesting speculation in it, and its an interesting read, but the research done so far is not nearly enough to seriously begin to answer some of the questions that are raised

if i can dig up my copy, i'd be willing to lend it

Damn that sounds like a shattering experience ... although words never come even faintly close to what truely goes on so far out. Next time you should perhaps try to get some DMT (not 5-Meo), not that I have tried either , but I hear DMT gives a much more rewarding experience than its 5-Meo counterpart. I'm may try to doing a DMT extraction later on this year, and give it a whirl (and no I'm probably not ready... but I don't think there's been a single soul out there that was 'ready' for a lvl4 experience).

definitely an interesting read
here is an excerpt:
"When I was first going under there were these insect creatures all around me. They were clearly trying to break through. I was fighting letting go of who I am or was. The more I fought, the more demonic they became, probing into my psyche and being. I finally started letting go of parts of myself, as I could no longer keep so much of me together. As I did, I still clung to the idea that all was God, and that God was love, and I was giving myself up to God and God's love because I was certain I was dying. As I accepted my death and dissolution into God's love, the insectoids began to feed on my heart, devouring the feelings of love and surrender.
It's not like LSD. Things really closed in around me, in comparison to the spaciousness that I feel with LSD. There was no feeling of space. Everything was in close. I've never seen anything like that. They were interested in emotion. As I was holding on to my last thought, that God equals love, they said, "Even here? Even here?" I said, "Yes, of course." They were still there but I was making love to them at the same time. They feasted as they made love to me. I don't know if they were male or female or something else, but it was extremely alien, though not necessarily unpleasant. The thought came to me with certainty that they were manipulating my DNA, changing its structure."

On another note, one of the best books I ever read on mind exploration is Pinchbeck's Breaking Open the Head. Strongly strongly recommended.
