IMHO: If you want a normal serious relationship, nothing below 26. However, I don't have any problem with 10+ year difference. Most girls go thru a "crazy" phase in thier life between the ages of 16 and 26. A romantic relationship with a yunger girl can be exiting and adventurous but also volatile and hectic. They need time to figure things out by them selves. If your okay with that and can avoid the "parent-child" type relationship go for it, hope for the best but expect it to end at anytime whitout warning or prior notice.

Don't be suprise if you get the: "If only we meet at another time" type excuse... I got that twice lol!

Plus, today over 10,000 girls are turning 18. Therfore about 10,000 girls are turning to the age groop of your choice every day. More women of your type then you can ever meet. Once again, I'm not saying it's wrong or anything just don't limit yourself to one choice... especially if she is much yunger then you, keep your eyes open.

Cheers!

Thank you ALL for comming! 8 people in ALL :D A net increase of 2 people lol! Anyways, we did not show any movies becuase we all ended up talking about why we feel the urge to do whatever we are told not to do. We also discused how our past influences our current behaviours. Last, but not least, the effects religion can have on different people.

I had a blast, next reunion will be Tuesday in 2 weeks.

Cheers!

I'm curious how many years people have obsesed with the possibilities of time travel? I'm quite sure that IF time travel is going to be at all possible for humans in a practical way, we should still be alive to witness it.

Even if our minds sequence the events themselves, it takes a forward movement to sequence something, ie:time. That would be like putting millions and millions of seperate frames together just to form a moment, and how would our brain know which to chose?

I agree that there are Asymmetries within time (unlike the other 3 dimensions of space). "L'eau est come le temps: il coule, il coule, il coule".

And there has been no proof that Time/Space is indeed in a block form, however there are plenty theories on time Asymmetries whitin this block time view that support it's possibility.

Here is a list, they should not be taken to be definitive characterizations (nor should the list be taken to be complete).

------------------------
Entropic asymmetry: the second law of thermodynamics states that entropy (or "disorder" ) increases over time.

Casual asymmetry: some events are causes of others; causes usally occur earlier than ther effects.

Knowledge asymmetry: although we can often make accurate predictions about what will occur, we have detailed and reliable knowledge of the past.

Action asymmetry: our delibreration are oriented toward the future, not the past.

Experience asymmetry: we experience our lives unfolding in a present that inexorably mouves forward in the direction of the future.
------------------------

The question that I've been poundering for a while now is NOT if our brains are capable of seamlesly flowing from one point to another, I'm sure it can, but rather, what makes the [PRESENT] so damn important to us. I don't mind feeling bad yesterday, it's today I'm worried about.

And the only reason why people would dread the future is because it has not yet come to past...

If i'm wrong, and the Future and Past are equally unreal, how would the above example be possible?

I preffer challenging myself with the following questions: Does time pass? and Does space exist?

I propose that we are in a state of determined block time. While still remaining in control of our actions and how we affect ourselves and others, the future in some sense already physically exists somewhere else in a space/time block. In other words, TIME would just be another DIMENSION of space equally as important as the y-x-z axes.

It would be our counsiousness then that flows from one point in the block to another that creates this wonderful ilusion we percive as time.

Here is my 2¢...

PRO:
-Music and Deco was great
-Plenty of beer and alcohol
-Kick-ass chill room, it was also nice and cool there :)
-Location was great, near 2 subway stations and a 24hour grocery store.

IN-BETWEEN:
-Venue size was ok, but next time I'll go for a little bigger place.

CONS:
-No shock-absorbing cushions for the turntables (sorry about that guys)
-More water bottles, at least 250 next time
-There should of been available light sticks and energy drinks for sale.
-Fans, fans and more fans. At times it was freaking HOT in the dance floor.

However, I was really satisfied with the overall success of Ix.
Profits where near break-even and everyone who came had a AWESOME time, that alone counts for most of my satisfaction :D

Well, that's all I can think or right now. Please comment me in this tread on how I can better my next raves!

Cheers,
