do you experience flashbacks from drug experiences?
of what nature are they?

since i took acid a lot of words have that acid feeling i can't explain to them. i speak and some words i say just awaken the resonnance of acid in me.

When I get sleepy, I start seeing things out of the corner of my eye, and also when walking in a forest. It's like the trees are staring at me, and I can see things running through the trees.

Things might swirl around, corner of the eye stuff or if I am reading the words might move in a wave, but it hardly happens

If I stare at a blank wall for a bit, I might start seeing faint moving patterns. If I'm looking at patterns, they'll start moving subtly after a bit or I'll see additional patterns that aren't there. It all goes away if I just blink and shake my head, though.

I hate to break it out to guys but I think you might be experiencing the common crazies. At least I thought these things were normal but I may just be havign flashbacks myself.

what I'd always get 3-4 months after acid trips though, is a 1 or 2 week period where every little noise startles me. Anybody else get that?

I dunno if it's 'cause of flashbacks/drug (ab)use, but I've always been really sensitive to sound (I hear more frequency range than most people on the bass AND treble end of the spectrum) and I've noticed recently that the fainter a sound is, the more jumpy/paranoid I get about it, and it's really anoying 'cause half the time, even though I can identify the source of the sound that made me jump, I'm the only one that heard it and people think I'm crazy.

How about djing? I noticed that since I started to spin, I was more sensitive to sounds. Not that I didn't hear them before, but I'm used to pay attention to them.

I don't think that's been affected that much. If anything, I think it'd probably help me focus more if I can lose myself in my head while spinning because then I completely take apart the tracks that I'm mixing.

hey, I think I do kinda know what you're talking about. I have this same hearing sensitivity issue as you in regular day to day life. I tend to hear people talking from really far away, or maybe it's all in my head, I haven't quite figured that out yet, but I'll hear people saying things faintly as a whisper or clearly so that I coudl hear the words, and sometimes ask people if they hear it, or of they said it, or assume they actually said that and respond to it, and they'll look at me like I'm crazy, but I'm sure they don't consider me it really. It doesn't startle me though, and over time I've become much better at distinguishing the difference, sometimes it will sound really close but still have some sort of resonance of being so far. Anyway, I was reffering to periods in time though when this would be magnified and accompanied with paranoia, assertiveness, and an almost-heart attack at anythgn too sudden, I assumed ti was cause of acid because of the intervals after takign it that it woudl happen, for all I know it might not even be the case but I'd surely think so. So seeign as you do have this strange hearing affinity like me, than I wouldn't be surprised if a flashback might come in the same form for you. It always passed for me, after a couple of weeks or so as I said, so I think you'll be okay. You'll probably just go back to your 'normal' state of hearing things at high frequency. For me I think that is just the way I always was but I can't connect it to any memories before drugs so.. I may be wrong, heh. Nothing wrong with that though, I hope.

Last time I consumed acid was @ Digital Flux. Everything was fine until last night. I don't know if it was the lsd or simply the awsome energy vibes from Ix but I was having closed eye visuals all night. It was quite enjoyable, however I'm in deep need of some serious sleep...

Last time I had this kind of experience was friday night at infected mushrooms.
When I started to peak on E. I first sensed a big unity with the music. Has I closed my eyes I could feel I was everywhere in the place..just as the music. When I opened my eyes and keeped them half closed I could see things that where not there...but in some kind of flash..just a image. I saw 2 friends of I that where not there and I saw faces of people I did not know. The people I saw where not there anymore when I looked back half-second later to make sure.

In that same way I had flashes many times of what I think was the thoughts, or emotions some people dancing around me where having. I could feel other peoples vibes and sometimes I had the feeling of being floating around myself and looking at people from different view.

heheh...I think I learned a lot about myself and other people from that experience..and I have to say that I enjoyed it.

something realy weird is that I asked one of my 2 friends I thought I saw..if she was thinking about me at the same time. And indeed she told me she thought about "he must realy be enjoying the party right now" before goind to bed at 3h am.

some of you must think im crazy..=) but no im not..lol

You're not feeling anything... You're just hearing the high frequencies coming from the tv.
