I've always had the idea to breakdance in a rave. You know when the people do whirlwind where their legs go in circles? I'd wanna do that one day when I get the hang of it with them glowsticks on my shoes!

Anyone else have any good ideas to rave? I'd wanna see that one day instead of just the figure 8s... although they are pretty fun to watch and do.

Oops my bad. It's called windmill. Not whirlwind XD

And those little kids on the video, all they do is stomp their feet on the floor and walk back. very bad dancing.

I prefer to save myself the embarassment to do that. But hey, as a challenge, I actually tried to do it XD

There used to be breakdancing in raves. I remember @ Cloud 2.. we had a pretty big circle with good dancers ;)

They even had hiphop rooms back in the days.

Anyways.. good luck with the windmill.. it hurts a lot when you don't know what you're doing... and choose your floor carefully ;)
I'm feeling w00t! right now..

THANKFULLY, MY BASEMENT IS MADE WITH A WOODEN FLOOR. IF I HAD A CARPET... THEN FOR SURE IT'S GONNA HURT BECAUSE OF THE BURNS IT'S GONNA CAUSE LOL

Btw, dunno if you know this or not yet, but in Red Lite, they have a hiphop room themselves.

And that's reason enough to avoid this place like the plague. Unless getting a cap up yo ass while glowsticking and massaging is your idea of a good night out.

To this day, I still fail to understand why we need to have a hiphop room at an afterhours. Why combine techno-hating ballers and hip hop-despising speed freaks into one space ?

Why not make ONE HUGE HIPHOP club and ONE HUGE AFTERHOURS club instead of bringing both together. People are so fucking lazy nowadays. If you want hip-hop, go to a place that plays hip-hop. You want techno, go to a club that plays techno.

What's next ? A Wu Tang Clan show at Metropolis with Garou playing first ? WTF ?
I'm feeling belkin n52te right now..

I miss the original Sona. Not that Forum Pepsi crap I've never seen but effectively made the club bomb massively.

Funny how the building the original Sona was in was bought out by the city that was planning to level it and build some sort of massive concert hall or something. Yeah. It's still up today.

By the way, let's play Q & A : anyone remember what the space was before Sona opened ?

Indeed, it is a sad state of affairs. As if, somehow, the people opening these things had no clue what they are about.

Wait... They are drug gangs just builing a house for their market, no? They don't care. Look at Stereo, they care, but their musical selection is... Different.
I'm feeling p a r t y ! ! ! ! right now..
