never had mine taken & i feel sorry for those who might try.
rules: 1) if you are going into a place for awhile don't Free lock it. Lock it to post or smothing not able to be carted off easyily 2) if you have quick release on front & back wheels you can get locks for them(needs a certin alan key to take of bike) 3) if you are not going to get that then lock front wheel up with bike(look @ rule # 1 ) 4) get a good lock not this candian crapy tire shit. If you have bike and want it to be your for long time remember this "you get what you pay for". 5) when locking it @ home lock it to something(look @ rule # 1) or keep it out of sight(out of sight out of mind...lock @ rule # 1;)) With these rules you should not have problems. but if someone really wants something they will find away...just make it more of test for them this time:) Lee |

i used to lock my expensive ass mountain bike with a heavy duty ass chain and a mastercraft multilayered padlock
no wonder i have it for 6 years. |
