Funk Shui is the latest installement of my breaks weekly I've been doing for the past 7 years. Its been running for nearly a year now and is the only breaks night in Montreal that covers the full breaks spectrum. We drop everything from downtempo breaks (Mo wax, Ninja Tune) to original funk breaks (James Brown, Curtis mayfield, etc...), to ol skool hip hop (De la Soul, UMCS) to big beat (Fatboy Slim, Freestylers) to nu skool (Plump Djs, Breakfastaz) and booty breaks (Deekline, Stanton Warriors) and pretty much every other subgenre of breaks there is (there are so many lol!)
