| Description: | RA description: PHARA (LIVE) — ESME — TOMMY LEWIS A last-minute surprise for this Saturday, September 5. We’re welcoming Brussels-based techno artist Phara to Ärder for a special live performance, joined by our resident Esme and Montreal-born, Berlin-based artist Tommy Lewis. A longtime resident of Brussels’ legendary Fuse, Phara has developed a distinctive approach to techno rooted in the energy of the club. Drawing from Detroit, Berlin and UK techno, as well as post-punk, wave, EBM and electro. Opening the night is Tommy Lewis, born in the UK, raised in Canada and now based in Berlin. Known for immersive sets and productions exploring the edges of minimal and experimental techno. And joining us is Ärder resident, Esme, whose sets draw from the raw intimacy of U.S. DIY dance Arders and the Montreal scene. As an Arder resident and part of Evening Unlimited, they build layered, patient and immersive journeys. A very last-minute announcement. A very good reason to make plans. |
