| Description: | Friday August 7th, Blue Room welcomes: Chamaco / Breakcheck / Sloppy Growing up in Latin America, Chamaco developed a sound shaped by curiosity, with playful twist and turn. Drawing heavy inspiration from the early 2000s minimal scene, he blends hypnotic grooves, rolling percussion, and chunky bassline. Montreal-based DJ and producer Breakcheck brings years of production experience and a deep passion for collecting records into his sets. Although new to the DJ scene, his carefully curated selections reflect a strong sense of groove, Texture (ES), and musical storytelling, making him a rising presence in Montreal’s underground scene. Born and raised on Réunion Island, Sloppy crafts hypnotic, dub-infused progressive sounds inspired by the island's Maloya rhythms and experimental sound design.
