DJ SYNCLAIRE is the collaborative project of NYC based artists Nema Hän and aka-Sol. Connected through their shared love and devotion to music, the duo approaches DJing as an ongoing exchange of discoveries. Their selections move fluidly through house, techno, psychedelic oddities, forgotten treasures, and contemporary sounds that carry a familiar spirit. ... aka-Sol is an Ecuadorian DJ, producer, and multidisciplinary artist based in Queens, NY. Through their Acacia Baila label and Dripping event series, they’re also a connector, releasing music and mixes from a broad global community of collaborators and close friends, as well as curating ecstatic events drawing lines between experimental performance and club music. As a DJ, their sets are genre-defying and psychedelic, with a strong focus on storytelling, charged with amped doses of expansiveness and nostalgia, capturing the essence of a “true raver.” Nema Hän is a multidisciplinary artist from South Korea dedicated to connecting the world, to empower our senses through music, sound, movement, and culture. Nema expanded their passion for electronic music and sound design in Berlin before returning to New York where they've been cutting their teeth refining the art of finding and blending records. as a DJ, Nema transcends genres and boundaries, exhibiting their approach to life and their creative processes through their psychedelic and emotionally expansive selections that are both timeless and playfully curious. + GLOSS DJs Frankie Teardrop Syd Woz |
