| Description: | Hopeton "Scientist" Brown came up at King Tubby's in Kingston, moved through Channel One and Tuff Gong, and by the early eighties had cut some of dub's defining records—Heavyweight Dub Champion, Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires, Scientist Wins the World Cup. On 20 July, Scientist brings the live dub set to La Sotterenea. Mixed in real time, up close. Opening is Honeydrip—Montréal producer, DJ, sound designer—a local hand for a night built on the sound system. |
