| Description: | Hypnotic, tribal, and dub techno are on the menu for this Dômesicle, featuring Berlin-based producer and DJ Lars Huismann alongside Montreal’s Esther Côté b2b newfriend. A prominent figure in the German techno scene, Lars Huismann comes to the SAT for a deep dive into the dub and tribal techno legacy of Jeff Mills and Oliver Ho, propelled by fierce 909 percussion and textures inspired by the 1990s and 2000s. To warm up the dancefloor, Esther Côté and newfriend join forces for a back-to-back that reflects both of their sonic worlds: on one side, an atypical and sensitive form of techno; on the other, a rhythmic approach shaped by percussion, house, and bass music. 360° visuals by Mostly Noise and HEX8. |
