As We Polish This Rock, It Loses Its Memory by Axel Helios is an immersive and interactive experience where images and sounds transform in real time… and where your presence may help shape its course. Here, you are not simply a spectator: you become an active participant. Using analog devices placed at the center of the dome, your gestures directly influence evolving visual and sonic landscapes. You may choose to simply observe these transformations or, instead alter and distort them, generating new variations within the work. As the experience unfolds, a question begins to emerge: what becomes of a narrative when it is constantly manipulated, reinterpreted, and polished until it loses its essence? The work explores our relationship with technology and its impact on collective memory, highlighting how our actions can transform, or even distort, a shared reality. Polarized discourse.
