| Description: | Presented in collaboration with EAF and good shows, Club SAT hosts an evening at the crossroads of experimental rock, post-punk, and electronic textures, featuring the London-based band Moin and, opening the night, the New York trio Sediment Club. Centered around Tom Halstead and Joe Andrews (from the duo Raime), alongside percussionist Valentina Magaletti, Moin crafts a raw sound where alt-rock, art-rock, doom, and improvisation collide. With abrasive riffs, visceral percussion, and reconstructed sonic fragments, the band blurs the lines between live performance and electronic music techniques, a distinctive approach that sets them apart on today’s scene. New York trio Sediment Club will kick off the evening with their unique blend of rhythm and noise. The band has built a reputation in the underground scene through a radical approach to distortion and experimentation, driven by Austin Sley Julian, Lazar Bozic, and Jackie McDermott. Their unhinged, no-wave performance will set the tone for a night devoted to the fringes of rock and the most unruly sonic forms. |
