DESCRIPTION:Presented in collaboration with EAF and good shows\, Club SAT hosts an evening at the crossroads of experimental rock\, post-punk\, and electronic textures\, featuring the London-based band Moin and\, opening the night\, the New York trio Sediment Club.\nCentered around Tom Halstead and Joe Andrews (from the duo Raime)\, alongside percussionist Valentina Magaletti\, Moin crafts a raw sound where alt-rock\, art-rock\, doom\, and improvisation collide. With abrasive riffs\, visceral percussion\, and reconstructed sonic fragments\, the band blurs the lines between live performance and electronic music techniques\, a distinctive approach that sets them apart on today’s scene.\nNew York trio Sediment Club will kick off the evening with their unique blend of rhythm and noise. The band has built a reputation in the underground scene through a radical approach to distortion and experimentation\, driven by Austin Sley Julian\, Lazar Bozic\, and Jackie McDermott. Their unhinged\, no-wave performance will set the tone for a night devoted to the fringes of rock and the most unruly sonic forms.
