Time:Fri Nov 28, 2025 @ 10:00pm till Sat Nov 29, 2025 @ 3:00am
Description:Nights of Worship presents Schwefelgelb (Berlin) playing Live along with, Pulsum (Montréal), CPR Annie (Montréal) and Detroit in Effect (Detroit) on November 28 2025 for our last big fundraiser of the year.

We’re excited to announce we’re hosting our event as an all night rave at Sainte-Catherine’s Hall in the Village, instead of our usual home at the Red Roof Church.

With Pomelo on sound and Fantasy on lights and the great infrastructure of the hall, we’re going to make it our most immersive and exciting environment yet!

IMPORTANT: This event will have strobe lighting.
START: 10PM

SCHWEFELGELB - Berlin
Initially intertwining industrial and Techno elements in 2016, their successive releases incorporated a raw and analogue aesthetic. Their music is intrinsically functional, designed to provoke movement, with lyrics serving as atmospheric embellishments
rather than conduits for explicit messages. Schwefelgelb’s live performances are nothing short of a spectacle.

DETROIT IN EFFECT
Dj Maaco started as a drummer at age 6 playing for a small church, by age 12 he dropped the sticks and got himself a cardboard and started break dancing! AT age 16 Kool Keith(Tucker) showed him an 808, Juno 106, and some other stuff. Keith then pulled out shoeboxes of cassette tapes to let him hear stuff he had been working on. DJ Maaco afterwards bought himself a keyboard and started making music. His first release was in 1992, with a group called “One Nation” and he later hooked up with DJ PDOG and together they formed M.A.P. Records. With a long history of musical appreciation and creation with influences springing from Gospel through Hip Hop to Techno and Miami Bass, Detroit In Effect bring it like so few can. Irresistible music with enough dirt to satisfy the sleaziest party animal or clarity of tone to inspire the most informed minds.

PULSUM - Montreal
With a sound self-described as “Industrial-Ethereal”, PULSUM’s music is electric, emotionally charged and visceral. Spanning the spheres of ambient, electro, industrial, and trip-hop, the Montreal-based artist engages with sonic styles to create a narrative of dissociative indulgence.

CPR ANNIE - Montreal
CPR Annie is dedicated to giving the dancefloor the kiss of life it deserves. Unbound by specific genres and eras, she curates mixes that are free of formulaic thinking. On describing her sound, CPR Annie prefers to let the Machines talk and asserts that she has nothing more to say through the art of the Written Word.

This project is made possible thanks to FAEDCN by STUDIO ZX, with the support of the City of Montreal. And also to our first sponsor Pabst Canada.
