RE: EDITOR'S response to Scott Russ's Aug. 12 letter regarding the legal
state of marijuana. The editor said that although people can make alcohol
themselves, most choose to buy it from a store. Marijuana and alcohol
differ in that most marijuana users, from what they have told me, prefer to
be able to grow their own plants so they know what they are ingesting and
don't always have to go out and find a dealer to get some.
