JUST THE FACTS:
Renee Cox, the executive director of Prevention Point Pittsburgh,
says critics of the privately funded needle-exchange program for
junkies - an illegal act in Pennsylvania but allowed to take place at
the Allegheny County Health Department - need to look beyond their
emotions and face the facts. Such as the fact that there's no hard
evidence that the program reduces the very infections it is designed
to stop, Ms. Cox?
