Well, I hope it's not tobacco! That's really bad for you!
Surely one of the goals of public policy is to deprive organized
crime of its sources of income. Columnist Henry Aubin made many
arguments against legalizing marijuana, but did not say why we should
keep in place this failed war-on-drugs policy, which is a boon for
organized crime.
It's not perfect, but legalizing pot would put a dent in the war
chest of the motorcycle gangs.
