PROHIBITIONISTS DO HARM
Yuba County Supervisor Andy Vasquez is doing some backwards thinking
("Yuba supervisor tough on medical marijuana, Nov. 20). If he
honestly wishes to "set up laws to protect citizens," then he would
rush to re-legalize and regulate the relatively safe, God-given plant
cannabis (marijuana).
Cannabis is not "harming teens and children" nearly as badly as
cannabis prohibition. Mexico's example of how horrifying cannabis
prohibition is to adults and children is a vivid and gross reminder
how cannabis prohibitionists just simply don't get it. In fact,
cannabis prohibitionists are more harmful than the plant itself.
