THE MARCH THAT GETS NO MENTION
On Saturday, an estimated 25,000 people paraded through the streets of
Toronto, ending up on Queen's Park lawn. But there was barely any
mention of this in our newspapers. Could that be because the parade
was the annual event to promote the medicalization of marijuana and
perhaps even its decriminalization and legalization?
Good thing no reporters were sent to report on this march, as readers
might get the idea that many Canadians actually do smoke pot for
medical and recreational purposes, and on a regular basis.
