SIU INVESTIGATES AFTER MAN INJURED DURING OPP DRUG BUST NEAR BROCKVILLE
The Special Investigations Unit was called in after a man was injured
during an OPP drug bust on Friday.
The OPP's organized crime enforcement bureau and drug enforcement
unit executed a search warrant around 3: 45 p.m. at a home on White
Acres Road in the Township of Front of Yonge, near Brockville.
A man was injured as police tried to arrest him. The man, whose name
was not released, was taken to the Brockville General Hospital with a
serious, but non-life-threatening injury.
Police said they seized 800 marijuana plants and more than 100 pounds
of marijuana during the raid.
