HOME INVADERS
Home invaders impersonating RCMP officers helped police uncover a marijuana
growing operation Tuesday morning.
Police say five men dressed in black kicked down the front door of a
residence in the 7700 block of Wedgewood Street at about 1 a.m. Before they
left with some marijuana, the suspects told the two occupants they would be
back shortly.
An hour later, the victims called police to ask why the officers hadn't
returned.
When RCMP showed up, they found a small marijuana cultivation operation in
the basement. The two occupants may face charges for growing marijuana.
