For the record, Joe Clark did not "give the nod to marijuana users."
("Faded stars," June 16) Clark added his name to a long list of
"traditional conservatives" who believe our futile war on cannabis is a
wasteful federal intrusion into local and personal affairs. Isn't this the
sort of thing Conservatives have historically opposed?
