hum. to actually notice that, one also needs to sit around for a bit and not take the metro.

there use to be a red phone in all metros with some ugly publicity drawing next to it that urged people to call if they suspected someone was about to commit suicide or something... it said "la personne vous semble agitée? déprimée? elle pleure?" but they took them away. maybe because kids overused it as a joke. but i think it's because they were afraid it would give more people the brillant idea of stoping all traffic and ending paralised in a hospital bed by attempting suicide this way. cos yeah. most of the time it doesn't work because the person throws himself too late or... too soon. (then it just goes "bam!" on the front of the metro and bumps on the other side of the railway. HA! and then it probably hits bunch of people that were just standing there waiting for the train to come. so sad.)
