Shit, it's pretty much the same thing.

Angel A : Aw, so mean *snif*

People tend to have extreme reaction if you let grow a beard, some girls will give you a "ew" look, other will hide their excitement (because facial hairs is a sexual sign, whatever people might think of it). I know some see it as a lack of respect to others, "manque de savoir vivre". But I guess most people don't care, and that's good.

Oh, and cashiers tend to be more polite with me if I buy Benson & Hedges rather than Number 7. They call me "sir". What's up with that ? Maybe it's the beard.

Writing down a text filled with fancy love words is just a complex way to say "You intrigue me and I associate you with my bed". Unless you just wanted to practice your writing.

Pictures are overrated, you only use one of your sense to judge someone. It only affect one part of your brain. It's incomplete, juding with a lack of info.

Well w/e, I still enjoyed reading it. And that's good you know, not being affraid of doing what you think is right to do. And why am I on your friends list anyway, we know each other ?

Sex is one powerful thing, and most people don't see the picture. How many people out there are bad at sex ? A lot, in my opinion. Obviously I haven't done any surveys, but considering the education people are getting, it doesnt look good. Guys should stop watching hardcore porn, most girls aren't into gang bangs, but whatever really. I'm just in a very bad mood this morning. MAYBE IM SEXUALLY FRUSTRATED HOHO.

You'll have to explain to me the relationship between clothes and personnality. I thought the point of fashion was to give a false impresion, an exagerrated one, of who you are. Making you sexier than you might be. Or like, you dress up in one way to convince yourself that you are what you are dressing. But I could be wrong, fashion is not something I really think about or studied.

Do you honestly believe in what you said above?
because personally I know we would be better off without money in the long run. Money created inequality and by nature humans are supposed to be equal.

Inequality came way, way before money did.

Inequality is natural, some will be smarter. Some will be more skillfull. Some will have more charm, more sex appeal. Some will be stronger, some will be weaker. It's a natural law.

But on the other hand, things are getting unnaturally unequal. Yeah, the wolf is at the door, and most people don't care. Eh what can you do eh ? I mean, waht can you do ? You know we're getting fucked up in the ass by the government, by lobbys, by Mind Control Inc, but whatyagonnado?

Most people have issues with these kind of relationships. Either you end up having a hard time dealing with them, either you don't care about others feelings, and become a bitch. Sex used to be special, now it just seems like a national hobby.

Sex is overrated. I believe it's a great thing, but generally, in our society, it is overrated. Too much energy going into it. Not the act itself, but the whole culture behind it.

We are a fucked up generation.

People want a fuck friend, but also a relationship. But they don't want to form a couple. It's just a recipe to fuck more people, and sex is often better when both persons "know" each other, quality is important too. Quantity and quality. Some people just can't get enough of it.

Languages were created because we needed a way to communicate. We needed words to specify what are we talking about. There is no such thing as a fake placebo, so we don't need that expression, and since we don't need it, it has no reason to exist. Unless you want to create long debates on nothing.

I don't think you're going to lose anything really... Concordia will never go on an unlimited strike. Cegeps and universities should only close down the school if a majority of students voted for the strike. I don't think some should pay for the indifference of others, and I don't see why some people don't vote. I think they're the ones who are lazy.

A handful ? I don't think Montrealers are that rich. The bursaries definitaly needs to go into the right hands, otherwise it's a waste.

Incompetence brings trouble. The Liberal Party is a great example of it. They were promised a lot, and instead they cut 103 millions. I think there would be less strikes and social conflicts if politicans were honnest. Around 70 000 university students used the program in 2002. There is a need for it, especially in rural areas where gaining money is harder than in Montreal. There is a lot of immigration from Saguenay, Abitibi, Gaspesie...but we need people there, we need our natural ressources. Bursaries are needed for those people, and for the lower urban classes.

Pretty funny, considering that I'm working right now for my university program. 3000$ already, and I still have 3 cegep semesters to go through. I won't even need financial aid. But my view on the subject is not based on my personaly experience, because you know, things are relative.

Bravo champ, I'm living with my parents too, I'm going to Europe this summer. Did I complain about not having money ? Did I complain about working ? I do what I have to do and I'm lucky to have parents to back me up. I don't mind working, I do mind overworking.

They have very high taxes ? No shit ! That's how you have free education. Instead of paying directly the university, the government does it. I don't see what is the evil part of this. Please tell me.

Life is not fair. I know.

Fair and unfairness are two poles. If you take decisions to go towards fairness, obviously there will be some negative backlash. But if you encourage unfairness, that's basically shooting yourself in the foot.

Anyone can learn, but no one can learn everything. Quebec might need some changes in it's education system, it needs to be more flexible. Obviously it's not everyone who should attend universities, and you need a system that will help people to realize who they are, instead of shoving useless junk down their throats. The second is obviously much easier, but this society needs inovation, new ideas, we're just throwing around the same old shit here.

Education benefits the whole society, so everyone should pay. Finland is an economicaly competitive country even if it has a lot of social programs.

People are in love with their stacks. Why don't you marry it ?

You're taking your own life experience to justify your views on how the whole society works. I don't think that makes sense. There are many factors that you have to take in account here, you can't just dump something like "if i did it, they can too". A lot of people don't have their parents backing them up, and living with your parents is an easy +500$ per month. 6000$ a year. Even if you work 45 hours, you end up with debts. This is a reality that clearly you don't care about. It's ok, it's just egocentrism.

There are many examples of countries with very succesful "free education" systems. Finland, France... I don't see why it couldn't work here also.

So neoform, life is about working hard eh ? These socials conflicts are about philosophy of life. Some people think that the less you work, the better your life will be. Some other seem to think the exact contrary. Personaly, I don't see the point of spending my life doing something I dislike. And you know, most jobs aren't fun, they only LOOK fun on the cegep brochure.

Obviously, work is essential. We used to be hunters, now hunting has been replace by working. We have to sacrifice time for money. Idealy, it is done with pleasure, and working seems like fun I guess when you have a lot of money. More power, more freedom. Less money, less power, less fredoom. So working becomes a bitch, you are poor, you live in Montreal Nord with not a lot of choices. You get a crappy job and work full time and ghetto conditions in the middle of nowhere. They aren't lazy, they're poor. And when you build a society built on competition, no matter how it changes, you always have losers and winners. It has nothing to do with lazyness or hard work, it's a natural law. And you're on top if you're lucky. Who are you parents, and what is their salaries.

Some people don't deserve bursaries, but some definitely need them. There is obviously no perfect system. But letting down the low class is one way to high criminality rates and social exclusion. And I don't feel living in a city surrounded by favelas.

I'm done.

Being a musician doesn't give you the credibility to determine that trance is shit(everyone seems to be playing music these days anyway, everyone wants to write a book, what's up with that?). Trance isn't exactly music...I see it as a more "emotional" music than for example, dnb. Music can reach two very different things inside of you, emotions and what we could call our "musical sense". Pop music and trance are, in my opinion, simple music, emotional music. The second category could include pop music, but the point of it is different. It is about rhythm, about the beat, about playing instruments for the sake of it and not for any "emotional" point. These are two poles, some artists are very "pop", other purely "musical", and some are in the middle. What we call "legendary" artists are often people who managed to combine both elements. Radiohead and Pink Floyd comes in mind.
