@Nemorave, ive never been to Bal en Blanc for example, what i wanted to say is i don't think people who go to bal en blanc would go on a rave who is more ''underground'', even if there some.

Also, if you had to give the mains difference between raves and clubs, what would they be?

Secondly, do you still see a lot of free party going on? If yes, is there more in Europe than America?

@thatguyoverthere, for the drug thing, i think to that drugs are not a essential part of raves, but there still a majority of people that take some right? I don't think than 16 years old who goes to raves to pop some molly are the poeple i want to analyse for my work, do you think there other reasons why people take drugs? Example, back in the 60's, hippies weren't only taking LSD for the fun, it was a way to discover new things and to fight agains't the technocracy. Do you think there might be other reasons for taking drugs like that last example?

Hi, im working on a sociology project at school. We need to make a project about a subculture. I love electronic music and raves, so i chose to make it about raves. I got some questions that i would like to ask you about some aspects of the raves.

First, drugs is a part of raves. A lot of people at raves are taking some drugs, my question is, why do you guys take drugs? What does it change?

Secondly, why are you going to raves? What is the difference between raves and clubs, what are the mains reasons that make you go to raves?
