Green Velvet live was simply one of the best thing I have ever seen and heard... I LOVED it! guy is ultimate cool, and is live is very intense...

Green Velvet will be playing after, and he will do is new live.. it's confirmed. And then you will hear Creator until the end.

tickets at 30$ - 35$ - and 40$ is one ticket for both shows. If you want to see only Miss kittin at SAT, it's either 25$ or 30$. If you only want to see Green Velvet, it's at aria the same night for 15$-20$... so you see the advantage of buying the 2 for 1 ticket

You can believe it! She asked for a mic again this time, and was very excited about playing at SAT again, she loves the place. And Velvet is suppose to bring his first new live in 3 years, since his next album is supposed to come out in march...

this is going to rock... with an incredible visual set-up at la sat. 1 Screen with 10 projectors just behind Miss Kittin!

C'était complètement fou, qu'elle soirée! Dave c'est une machine. Il a enterré tout le monde! Une vitesse de mix et une précision comme j'ai jamais vu. Les gens étaient dedans, beaucoup d'énergie, l'ambiance était bonne!

This will be our last party for a great year that was 2004. Thomas Krome, Moshic, Alex Bau... Dave is our final guest and it will be a year to remember.

Yes indeed the ideal would have been that he plays a 4-7 am timeslot, but Adam as to be back in the US by noon (!), that was the only request.

So the only possible way for him to return on time is the 6 am flight, so he as to leave at 4 am max.... so for any boob signing, it would be during his set.

But i'm sure, because he is such a good dj, that he will be back soon either at Circus or on a futur Ravemontreal party.

Expect a hard hitting line up for the real Techno night opening feb 20th. " Friday Feb 20th is the opening of the regular friday techno nights with myself (creator), Pink Feria and a guest DJ that we will invite. It is the official booking of the 20th. afterwards, fridays will alternate between our nights and other concepts.

It's hard to not be on the same night than somebody else. My next guest gave me the 5-6 march or 12-13 , either way, I will be against 2 of my friends. But there's a way to play it right if you have good communications with other promoters.

you are way wrong on your fact 2. It's sad, but Elevation thread on RM is non-active except for 4-5 users. They are going to celebration or aria for most. Ravewave is the place were the elevation thread is working.

And also I wasn't trying to "beat you", but just point out that most of the people who judge crowds do it without actual facts.

Finally, wait and see who I have for my next event... you'll see I don't need any help.

why would he be joking? I hate that "my site people are better than the other site's people", that's bull.

Fact is: People that disses the crowd of RM do it by complete ignorance because they haven't been to an rm party. And because of some strange reason, they feel that because it's a success and it's another site, that either they are not welcome or worst, just discriminate to maybe feel better of not going.

Everybody I know that had prejudices were ALL impressed and changed their mind after being at a Ravemontreal party. That's why it's a success, people keep coming back. Even the most anti-rm (Tapis is the best exemple). And DJs are always excited to come back and play. I brought good djs (monika kruse, devilfish, sven dedek...) and did the parties in nice places. So it's a fairly old/mature crowd, very diversified, and educated on music.

Here's what Alex Bau, great Dj from Germany had to say about them:

"... one of the best audiences I had this year. funny thing, because on our trip to canada we thought "well, I guess it`s gonna be good, but they know techno for so many years... nothing special!". but it turned out the other way. for sure you know techno for a a long time, but I experienced a very special vibe on the event that is usually familiar to us from gigs in eastern europe, where they usually party like hell and all western european countries (especially germany included!) can not come up with. you rocked the place all over and it was a pleasure and a gift for us that your real local hero martin invited us to come and play for you. I had the feeling that we experienced a very warm welcome, and it`s just you, our audience of ravemontreal 13, that really makes me wanting to come back as I already mentioned. so please bother mart (sorry martin, he he...) to invite us once a year to keep the chance for having at least one all over rocking evening. we are grateful about this partyweekend and even if some artists seem to be bored by doing it all weekend long - we never will behave like this as along as we have such nice people partying together with us."

My english is not perfect, so i'll do my best.

Hmmm... I have a very hard time describing my own style...

For the Hard one, you might expect some very dark, hard but slow tech, with a mix of hard electro and 80's feel (issh, don't if that's right, but i can't compare it to any thing else that I heard right now.)

The mild one is definitly a blend of progressive going into more minimal tecky afterwards ( like a little bit of Lawler and a bit of hawtin)
