| Coolness: 55725 | the police can easily shut down your party if they have enough complaints about the sound, private party or not. Or they can just sit there and write you one ticket for every complaint that they got, effectively writing off any future parties as you either pay those tickets or fight them in court. They could also come up with a million other reasons to shut down your party. If they aren't valid, great, you can win in court, but that doesn't help all the partiers who have to go home early. Was that venue burnt comment directed at me? If it was, I have no idea what you are talking about. |
