nobody is doubting Regimental's skill , it is just really hard to take a white person singing like a black person seriously. blending tracks seamlessly does not mean slowy mixing them. That sounds like shit and is what bad djs do. You should mix in parts musically ie after 16 bar phrase , add the other track with some EQ tweaks. Then maybe each 8 bar phrase , change the eq so that eq band emphasis switches from each track. And when the bass of the new song has come in , people should know it has come in. People should realise a new song is playing. The fact that people know it is a new song will add momemtum. People are used to hearing " songs " and the longer you make a track appear to be in length , the more bored people will get.
no offence man but using a mouse in a performance is about as gay as it gets. that is like a "host one threatening to beat you up " level of gayness. The only thing that i can think of that is more gay would be a barbra streisand themed mouse.

i wouldn't say deeper. It sounds more like a 303 sure , but i think 303s kinda sound lame unless distorted to shit and The abl distors nicer which is why i prefer it.

it isn't like brass players play together and form a section hoping someone will call them looking for a horn section. Your best bet is to just put an add up in university music faculties but i'm pretty sure most musicians of that caliber won't want anything to do with you.
