the new industrial music is maybe too commercial and not "noize" enough for you.. but ya all kind of """industrial""" music come from the same roots :)

the harsh indust night is as big as last year, the noize night is as big as last year and for the one that like that we event added a EBM night, but I guess by reading how you are scared of the all age thing event if we all know that you will never see 14 years old kid there, the festival was indeed not for you :)

kinetik never was for the "hardcore elitiste" only crowd but more to please all the scene from commercial industrial to snob noize freak, like nathan said yes we do need the "releve" part of the scene to make happen this kind of BIG scale event.

but I guest the festival will never be big enough to please everyone taste...

Skinny Puppy Cancelation update : After more than 2 months of talking directly with Skinny Puppy, even if we did have a signed contract from there booking agency since September 2008, due to changes on Skinny Puppy side schedule, both parties agreed to cancel Skinny Puppy participation to the festival. It is a sad news for all the Kinetik team, and be sure we did everything we could to make this show happen. It is with the same resigment that Skinny Puppy decided to cancel there participation to the festival. We will soon post an official letter from Nivek Ogre explaining this change and that the cancellation is not due to the festival team or Skinny Puppy fault.

We hope that the festival line up with more than 35 acts is still enough to please everyones tastes, the festival was never intended to be a "one" band festival, but more a whole experience. For anyone that has bought tickets/passes to the festival and wish to receive an refund on there purchase, please send an email to sales@festival-kinetik.net along side the full transaction confirmation ID received from the paypal transaction confirmation email.

One week left before the price change on tickets and passes for the festival :)

as for Manu, yes saddly he couldn't make it for the fest :( (its not a question of no visa or no flight.. as you have see with the other 32 bands.. none had problem coming to the fest). We will post his official letter with his explaination about it, and we do hope he get well really soon.

First of all,

a BIG thank you to everybody that came to phase 1 and 2 and made it a success! :)

Tonight its phase 3 in a first time, At usine C, From 3h pm to 3h am... for the best of rythmic noise music.. from terrorfakt, to Sonar to this morn omina (live african percusion.. don't miss that).

Than it will be phase 4 at Theatre Sans Fil from 10h pm to 9h am for the best of techno hardcore music in town!! be there or be square :)

tickets are still available at Cruella and Psychonaut for phase 4 (rave) and will be available at the doors at Theatre Sans Fil

Horrorist, Ascii Disko and Nitzer Ebb all arrive in one peace for tomorow shows.. so now just missing you :P

Tickets questions ::

As for the tickets they will be available online on the festival kinetik online store, admission office and in the store until Wednesday May 14 (and saturday May 17 for the phase 4). After this date the tickets will only be available directly at Usine C and at Theatre Sans Fil doors the day of the events. We have reserve 150 tickets for the phase 1, 2 and 3 to be sold at the door, so for the one coming into town for the festival, we really suggest you to go buy them fast to get some, Usine C ticket outlet is open from 12hpm to 5h pm.

For everyone that have buy there tickets online after march 22, be sure to have your transaction confirmation email printed with you along side a picture ID to receive your passes/tickets at the door.
