What I meant was it seems to me that spending money to travel to Ottawa (which is much smaller than Montreal) is a contradiction of what you are protesting about. Why not plan a protest in downtown Montreal, which will reach many many more people, and then you can spend your money on charities which are taking direct action to fight poverty around the globe.

Disrupting my city is just going to beleaguer the cause.
