there's a joy to be had in having a hands on dedicated unit
that you can even carry around with you and sample with internal mic
(though even that is limited in scope)
sometimess less is more.
how much fun is a rinkydink casio sampler keyboard thingy?
so much!
sure it is rendered obsolete by even a 486 AT PC
but it has that immediate charm inherent to dedicated audio toys.
sure you can reproduce the 12bit audio sampling and sequencing feel of an mpc 60
but there is a reason why it still fetches high dollar on he used market
it's fun to be able to have different tools at hand
though limiting it has its qualities in its limitations
in that it has a defined framework for you to use out the box
it's just up to one to find what limitations one is willing to work with
and what toys are pleasing to ones sensibilities
just my 2cents on that...

and yeah i'm still shopping those cards
thanks for the input
and good luck on the sales

[ en.wikipedia.org ]

"The Japanese blood type theory of personality is a popular belief that a person's ABO blood type is predictive of their personality, character, and compatibility with others.[citation needed] This belief has carried over to certain extent in other parts of East Asia such as South Korea and Taiwan. In Japan, asking someone their blood type is considered as normal as asking their astrological sign. It is also common for Japanese-made video games (especially Role-Playing Games) and manga series to include blood type with character descriptions. "

obviously very boring. and those creepy motifs feed into the general sense of alienation from happiness that people tend to harbour when in a state out of balance and stuff. that's why i like organic food and new age holistic zen feng shui crap. rainbow chakra gayness. my house is a bit messy and full of books and records and electronic stuff. hobbies. organic food. chakras. c'est important. mais bon il faut etre ouvert a cela. this is nurtured. i can't believe i'm posting here. ntk. bonjour anyways

& thereby reducing your measure length by half
still 32nd quantization is not enough for me
i have a korg esx1 and love it to death though and do gigs with it
but i cant do everything on it and for its own self its self sustained is fine
i find that being stuck to the groove is imprisoning though
if i want to do whatever i feel at whatever quantization i feel then its liminting
thats my only gripe. but yeah nice box

that looks like a yamaha rs7000 or something
korg electribes are fine if you dont mind the 16th note quantization
its basically a roland x0x drum machine sequencer setup
better off with somethign with more resolution to sequence
