This slideshow/video was created by Rogue (Walter Byrne II), a Route 66 DJ who is serving in the Vermont National Guard in Ar Ramadi, Iraq. Get a glimpse of what you don't see on the evening news through the eyes of a DJ. Whether you agree with the war or not, this will touch your heart and give you a new perspective of what it's like to be in war torn Iraq.

Matt (Mr. Niceguy) is doing a show from Jacksonville, Florida. Where I live I can't get high speed internet (too rural). Will Taylor isn't sure his connection will support a show. I need to move back to the city! But if you saw where I lived, you wouldn't want to move either! 100% privacy. I can DJ 24/7 and no one will ever complain. We'll have a regular show soon. Hope to see you soon.

Here is what the line up for December will be:

Tricky Pat (Metaphor Rec./The Mist - USA)
Axionfigga vs Galaksy vs Nitrous (In Da Jungle - Montreal)
Illmannered (Digilog - USA)
Lucid (Route 66 - USA)

BUT... this thread is about our November show, so it's about the techno this month! haha!

Looks and sounds like a blast. Maybe I'll gather up some Route 66 heads and come check it out. Looks like some great DJ's and a lot of fun.

Thanks! We greatly appreciate the support. December 3 is going to be all D'n'B w/ Tricky Pat (Metaphor Rec. - USA), Axionfigga vs Galaksy (iDJ - Montreal), Illmannered (Digilog - USA) and Lucid (Route 66 - USA). Even though the Route 66 crew are all mainly techno DJ's, we never stick to one genre for our monthly shows. Talent is talent, regardless of genre.

Come join the Route 66 crew with special guest Kane (Nexus - USA) for one of Montreal's best pre-afterhour parties! Come see what the hype is about.

Me and my crew have a monthly at Velvet the first Saturday of each month and I have gigs in Montreal booked for July 8 (progressive set) and Sept. 17 (Biological Project 2 - tag acid set with Indica). So, I'm doing my best to play in Montreal as much as possible. Montreal's music scene is the best I've experienced and the great people I meet every time makes it even better.

when you say hard, what kind of music does it mean? I wasnt there, I'm curious.

I usually play U.K. hard techno/acid techno like Dave the Drummer, Ant, etc. but I kept going and started dropping Jeff Amadeus, Matt Maddox, etc. which is hammering, dirty, chaotic hard techno. A few more BPM and it would have been hardcore! Great time and a great crowd. That's why I love Montreal so much.

The best crowd I've ever played for!! The harder I played, the crazier the crowd got! I normally don't play quite that hard, but I wanted to see how far I could push it. I thought my set was a little rocky at times, especially when the kill switches on the mixer are backwards! Off is actually On and vice versa, unlike all other mixers! haha! Regardless, I had an incredible time. Amazing vibe, great people, great DJ's and a great variety of music. The Level 4 crew did a great job from beginning to end. My friend, Sotto, was really disappointed with his set due to his lap top having issues, but had a great time anyway. He figured out the problem once we got back to the U.S. and opened Sunday Night Mass @ Metronome in Burlington on no sleep and was simply incredible. So, it was an amazing birthday weekend for me. 33, man I'm getting old!! Much love and respect to everyone that I met, all the people that lost their minds on the dance floor and to Steve Lalla for having me and Sotto be part of the party. I can't wait to do it again!
