Oh... im diving into the deep end...

I find it very wrong that whenever you see a couple of people who are pretty much obviously too young to be doing what they are doing, they are usually if not always close to, at this, or past this point of intoxication (usually that among other things as well)

Im sorry girls.. but really its getting out of hand.. You're all 14, 15, are any of you even 16?
When I was 14 my mom used to get mad at me if I wasnt home at 6 or called in advance.. Your so young.. I know people say things all the time but seriosuly.. dont rush into growing up.. theres no hurry.. and by the time it hits you you'll already be so strung out.. For what?..
Think about it. What are you're reasons? To be accepted? Treated maturly?.. Cause if it is (and I know im not the only one who feels this way) you're not getting it.. People laugh while others are in to much of a shock to say anything.

You want to spend your time, energy and your care free years trying to achieve or become something or someone you clearly arent ready and cant handle being among other things, then do it the right way.

Im done waisting my time..

I gotta back Kaf on this...

I was writing something before as a response, but decided against it...i just think there are too many (and this is not at all a ravewave directed statement) young kids out there, getting fucked up cause it's "like cool" and that's in quotes cause a 14 year old told me that when i asked why he smokes and snorts coke...

it's your life, so make your own choices, but once you're addicted, you've forefited it all up

I love a couple of them also.. im not doing it to be a bitch. Im doing it as a reality check.. On your last day of grade 8 did you're weekend include booze, k, pills, being out all night.. I love them but I dont see why their in such a rush to be 18 19 or 20.. if I could go back to being 14 I would for sure do it I loved how fun it was. Yu just stated it yourself.. "let them be young" they arent being young.
and then "theres worse things they could be doing" that happens when they turn 16..

being one of these young people, yeah, I agree.

-im speaking for myself here-

I agree that I have my whole life to be doing this shit. I agree that "acting my age" would be better for my mental and physical health. I hate to say it, cause it sounds so bad, but sometimes I wish I could. I wish I could go back to being so blind to the world.
But a few events in my life made me realise some shit quite early, and made me open my eyes.
So Ive always hungout with people older than me. For as long as I can remember, I cant stand people my own age. (yeah I know it sounds bad :/ )

I disagree about "doing it to be cool" or "doing it to be accepted".
That has absolutely nothing to do about the reasons why I do drugs, or go out till the morning. Im not gonna go on about that, but really, trying to be "CoOl" has nothing to do with it. nothing.

Thx for caring, but I think you guys know its not your opinion thats gonna make people change.

kafwin... now you understand exactly why scotty p, olee and i were always bitching about you guys doing drugs and all

i know that i'm not that much older than you... but it's about the same age difference between me and you and you and them.. it's our responsability for letting them become who they are... how many times did we say don't do hard shit like that, don't abuse drugs.. it's gonna fuck you up, it's gonna ruin your lives.. but all we got in return were disses and the "i can quit when i want, i got it all in control".. untill last winter hell broke loose and i don't even have to mention what happened.. you know it pretty well, and i even read the long post you wrote about it... and all we were doing was trying to avoid that situation.. for you guys.. me i couldn't care less if you did drugs or not, and what drugs you did coz besides a few ppl like sam... there aren't many here who haven't experienced with many types of drugs, from nicotine, alcohol, thc, mdma, mda, speed, ketamine, ... But what i saw happening last winter just made me sad and angry inside coz there was just no more limit to the drugs ppl were using.. mixing mdma, alcohol, weed, crystal meth, pcp, ALL in one night is a tiny bit asking for serious problems later on in life.. and i know ppl who did it, but you know them better.. you were around when it was happening

You have no idea how happy I am for you, because you seem to have put your foot down and got control of your life and you have more respect from me than ever.. but now you know how we felt when we saw you guys do shit like that.. it's not pretty and you feel powerless.. altho all you wanna do is try to help somebody.. i don't know who let them do chems at that young age but seriously that wasn't a good idea at all

anyways i'm gonna stop now coz i think i said enough

PEACE

i dunno if the age you start @ makes that much difference...:s
i never did any drugs till 17, didnt seriously start doing them until ....last fall i guess (21)
yet...i STILL have trouble knowing when to put my foot down, when to say "enough"....ive dealt with taking excessive amounts of drugs and psychological aftermath...and i cant say being the age i am makes it any easier
or maybe im just immature.
meh.

"i don't know who let them do chems at that young age but seriously that wasn't a good idea at all"

You dont have control over someone else's drug use. If someone wants to try something, and you just dont let them, theyre gonna end up doing in one way or another. Chems arent a good idea, no matter how old you are.
If someone gets addicted to a drug, if theyre 15, 18, 22, or whatever, its sad no matter what age. And someone who tries a drug and gets addicted, wouldve gotten addicted no matter how old. So yeah, its even more sad to be throwing your life away at a young age, but it all depends on the individual, and someone who's going threw it young, wouldve gone threw in old anyhow.

So, its like learning a couple lessons earlier in life for some.
Or just ruining your life for others.

"You dont have control over someone else's drug use."

do you really think they would have done so much of them if they weren't hanging out with ppl that did them so often and have access to it?

"If someone wants to try something, and you just dont let them, theyre gonna end up doing in one way or another."

you can't do chems unless you have plugs for it, it's not as if you can go to pharmaprix and be like.. yeah i need E and mdma and speed.. they're gonna call your parents and that';s it

what i'm trying to say is not the age.. but here we were talking about 2 specific individuals

and the ravewave crowd they hang out with can't really say that they haven't done chems.. the moment i started hanging out more with some ppl it started to get bad coz drugs were not only given free to me, but it was just way too easy to get..

but i know my limits, i know how and when to take drugs... i don't abuse it.. i'm down to smoking weed 1-2 times a week from what was a really fucked up phase of my life drug wise, the moment i stopped hanging out with that crowd, i went back to what i was doing before.. alcohol and weed

but you have a point.. no matter what the age.. it;'s sad to see ppl acting that way but i don't agree that we don't have control over it.. i refuse to hook up ppl with drugs besides weed.. why? coz i don't want to ruin their lives and i don't want them to fuck up.. and don't forget.. not everyone has access to these drugs as much as we do.. for us it's normal coz the scene kinda revolves around them now

say no to drugs

Yeah, Youre right that we have very easy access to drugs.

But taking drugs is deeper than "having access", its psychological. I completely respect that you dont hookup anyone for chems.

Im just saying, a drug user has the profile of a drug user before even touching drugs.

k, this is going too far. lol

Thanks eldar. I understand what ur sayimg and what you were all trying to say all along. Like you said yourself, you read about my experience with hard drugs and the fact is I had said no to them and had never thought in a million years I would find myself in the state I was in a couple of months ago.. Im not making excuses for myself or my friends.. im just going to point out the differences. SOME of the people I know including myself never did alot of drugs. This one just came along at the right time and like ive said before gave us the escape from our overwhelming, stressfull (yea it happens) everyday lives we needed.

And maybe its just my opinion but at my age I had already been around drugs for a while.. I knew what they did in the long run and I had a choice, knowing the concequences. Compair that to a 14 year old at a first rave not knowing what to take, how much, and how to cope on it I think in that case it leads to a faster discovery of a broader group of drugs and experimenting them.

Alot of dealers dont care who they sell to.. the younger the better easily manipulated, and I think that is the point im trying to make..
