for djing, my vote might go to the Allen & Heath's, and for producing, the Sony's.

I don't own any of these headphones tho lol, but from what I've heard.
I'm feeling your insides right now..

dude... try out all three and see which one make you happy... that is the one and only way to pick a pair of cans... everyone else's opinion is nearly irrelevant because you have your head and they have theirs

The pioneers sound great, but the plastic that holds the earpiece breaks really fucking easy.
I haven't tried the sony's, but I'm in the market for some new cans myself, and I've got my eye on the Allen & heaths or the senhieser HD-25 II cuz they look pretty fucking dope...

i'm going to get the pioneer ones... the hdj2000 don't break easily (better model) anyways they match all the equipment... i should ask pioneer for money and become a sponsor for them...

I saw a video on youtube where some big name DJ was comparing the Pioneers and Allen Heaths and a couple others. for what it's worth, he said his next pair was def. going to be those A&H. but as Rawali said, check em out yourself. I'm sure they're all very good, you have to decide what works best for you.

yup =) the HD25-1 II is dope. I've got em on right now, editing some samples. such a pleasure to work with. super comfortable and the sound quality is amazing. much better than the Technics RP-DJ1200s I used to use. These Sennheisers keep the sound in so well that I often don't hear someone walking by or calling for me, which never happened with my old Techs

I like that snazzy blue one you posted! the ones I got are the normal black model.

these are some pretty funky customized HD25s ... cute girl too =)

Yep, the Hinges and pivots for the 2000's are magnesium. No more squeaking plastic!

I stand corrected...
I was referring to the 1000's.

@ recoil... Where did you get your HD25's?

Moog doesn't seem to have them anymore???
And the blue ones are the limited edition Adidas model.

those Adidas limited edition are stylin!

I got mine from Long & McQuade. They only had one pair in stock at their main store in Toronto, so they shipped it down to the one closest to me in Burlington.
