| It's probably like most laws, they don't give a shit and just pay the fine. Mtl's stores do the same very often. They make more money than the fine they're given. Same thing for construction. |

| I'm not big enought to do this kind of festival...Just asking because this laws had bug me a lot this summer...And that could happen to anyone who's doing outside events...Some parts of the city are still not regulated by this....But just wait to know untill when Tremblay will use is ''good'' brain..Lot more complicate for sound company, we had to use lot of compression and lot of delay speakers to get ''decent'' sound with that shit. |

So fucking true. It pisses me off that big, rich organizations can get away with it. At Université de Montréal, very, very loud construction work has been going on for months. In a residential area, workers drop heavy pieces of metal repeatedly into these huge metal containers at any time of the day and night. The city said that since it happened during the night, it was illegal so we had to call 911?! my neighbor did call the police. they came, heard, did nothing, and left. |
