Rave.ca N00b Needs A Minute Of Your Time =)

My name is Max and i've openned my rave.ça account today. Worked my way around for couple of hours, clicking here and there to get familiar with the basic features of the website. But there's still some blind spots. So here we go: 1- how does the friends thing works? Is it fessebook like, where you need to confirm your friendship with someone, or you just click on "add to friend list" if you feel like it, without involving any decision from the other person? 2- Is it right to, for example, ask which song was on at 1h58am at the awesome NTK / Hard Times free party event, or nobody keeps track of that and i'll look like a dumbass asking for the moon? (Btw, i'd like to have the name of the song playing at that time, more or less, too =). And where should i ask for that, is there a place especially for that? Not only you will help me, but wait, there's even MORE!! I'll give you all a +1 =D That's pretty much about it for now. Thanks in advance =) -Max P.S: i know french too;) |

 Coolness: 248375 | 1st of all, no it's not like facebook, you just add people on your friend list. I suggest you add people you already meet... but this is just me! Lots of people add anyone in the site.
for your second point, come on , dj's don't have a playlist done with the time they played a song in a party... Try to look in the line-up who was playing at that time and maybe contact the DJ and see with him. IF the track was particular with a certain vocal , maybe you'll find it...but again, i doubt it. People take drug and get drunk in parties, they don,t remember exactly what happen at a certain time. Maybe you're lucky , if it was the end of the dj set, it was a really special outro , but again, i guess only the dj will remember what he was playing to close his set ( if they was no delay) .If you have no clue who was playing at that time, ask on the review section thread. There's already a thread for the NTK party. Tout d'abord, bonsoir à toutes et tous! Now i'd like to know... Is it politically correct to talk about Tim Bergling (Tim Berg, Avicii. Why publishing some songs on a name, and some songs on the other one? Don't know. But anyway, that's not the point here =P ), the bloody beetroots, Seight, Benny Benassi, or will people throw me rocks at different venues cuz once i dared say those names in the presence of rave.ça purist? Pi là, asteure que vous pensez que j'ai fini... Bin j'va aller encore plus loin! On peut tu même parler de d'autres types de musique, ou encore une fois j'va me faire pitcher d roches? C'est un forum, le monde peuvent pas aimer tous la même musique, les mêmes partys , les mêmes choses en général quoi. Le drama est partie quotidienne du site, pcq les gens échangent des opinions et comme tout humain est différent des fois ca amène des frictions. Y'en a qui bitchent sur le dubstep, d'autre le psytrance, chacun ses préférences. Ya pas de restrictions haha, mais faut pas toute prendre personnelle . Les forums en général c'est pas fait pour les gens sensibles, si tu n'aimes pas t'obstiner et prend toute critique personnelle , mieux vaut éviter ce genre de sites. |

Je suis à l'aise avec le fonctionnement d'un forum, ya pas de stress là, j'suis un guerrier pour ckié des discordes d'opinions (j'va encore sur irc... Pi tant ka moi, c exactement la même basique qu'un forum, mais live). Ne sois pas inquiète pour ma sensibilité jeune padawanE =P (Voir note au bas avant la lecture de ce paragraphe). C't'un peu comme avec une femme ds le fond: d fois, tu farmes ta yeule ek ça pi tu mets juste po le sujet sur la table pour éviter un gaspillage d'énergie inutile (Là... Là là tu peux me pitcher d roches, j'vais po essayer d'm'en échapper, promis =P ) Note: à prendre à la légère. Sinon, bin just too bad! Faque ctait po mal ça =) |
