so here are some of my recent faves Johnny B goode by chuck berry why do fools fall in love by Frankie Lymon and the teenagers under the boardwalk, the rolling stones version move one up by curtis mayfield the duke of earl by gene chandler (if you listen carefully you can here that sample from the Cypress hill song... please tell me your favorite old songs, remember if it comes after 1975 it doesn't count... |

Steely Dan - Stuck in the middle with you it's actually a different band - similar name tho the one guy in the band also did this tune - I remember when I was a tiny kid hearing this in grocery stores and doctor's offices etc. lol . it's been in my head ever since and this one.. great tune what else this gem.. and this one.. this is what all the badass rockers (permed hair, mullet, jean jacket or leather with a patch) would play in my town when I was a little kid haha I always had a soft spot for this tune damn I could go on all night.. love the oldies. |
