Coolness: 65905	a "cure" implies permanent solution... a seven day relief is not a cure :p What is nice over anti-depressant is that the effect is instantaneous rather than the dreadful 3 month period of downs or up and down (depending on the case) at which point the "I feel nothing" phase kicks in which isn't really a cure either, especially that feeling nothing sucks. while these elicit drugs may seem like a better alternative, they can also make people very unstable, similar to a person take keeps stopping his/her meds. I'm sure someone has compared the molecular structure and regiochemistry of anti-depressants versus psychotropics, would be interesting to see. p.s. I like to party too, just would be careful before advising a clinically depressed person to take street drugs :p so who wants to participant in their study :D

Coolness: 88990	I don`t know about ketamine but i know that lsd and mdma advanced Physiatry a lot in the way of discovering new neurotransmitters like serotonin, but I dont see these things as a cure but as a tool that could be combined with therapy to produce promising effects in clinically depressed people.But with the ultimate goal gradually of cutting out the drugs and focus more on the cognitive side of the therapy.

	I'm feeling pensive right now..
