in my dream last night i woke up in my bed and the wall was all wet and shit.., the paint was coming loose and starting to bubble with moisture.
then i realized it was raining, pouring outside! i went and looked around the house and all the walls were like dripping and bubbling with excess moisture, the house was almost sagging, soggy, all the wood infused with wet. i went back into my bedroom and realized that it was getting worse -quickly. it seemed like the whole ceiling was sagging towards the middle, like the apartment upstairs from me had become a lake or something.
i got scared and went down to see my landlord who lives in the basement apt. below me but like, his front door was gone, all the lights were on and there was a torrent of water flooding through his whole apartment, it was raining like the bejeesus outside and the water level in the basement apt. was8 feet high, almost to the ceiling. somewhere in there i assumed that my landlord was dead and had been washed away by the rain waters.
at that point i realized that my whole apt building was gonna get flooded and all my records would be ruined forever. i seem to remember thinking something about karma, and how this was my punishment for all the bad things i had done, but that it wasn't so bad, i will make it. is that all you got? then i guess i woke up somewhere in there.

...now it's raining outside and it's bringing the memory back

anyways i used to like posting my dreams on ravewave cause its the type of shit you always forget later in the day and for sure a week or two later, post yo' dreamz in the morning( or whenever you awake)

i often have weird dreams.. too bizarre or personal to be tell here haha ;)

one of the worse nightmare that i have these last years is that i am in a cell and i repeat over and over to the guardians to let me go that i did nothing wrong and that they can't keep me here...etc..
it's horrible.

my favorites one are the one that i dream of someone who has passed away... always interesting...

and the one where i fly.. sometimes i wake up and for half of a second i believe that moving my arms will make me fly.. ridiculous..

the worse is when i have episode of somnambulism which happen every 6 months in average... haha it can be funny but the first few time my husband was really wondering what the fuck i was doing running around the house speaking french at 2am..haha but i hate the moment when i wake up often i am pissed..

i think dreams are a fabulous connection to our subconscious or even some form of mysticism...who knows?
I'm feeling hitched right now..

I wish I could remember all my dreams! That would be so cool! Here's a recent one I had time to write down:

It's about friends, zombies, and a wheelchair.

My dream began in a rave. It's the morning and it ended. I say goodbye to people and I put on rollerblades to get back at Fred and Louis' place. Strangely in my dream, Boulevard Pie-IX looks more like Chemin Chambly in Marieville, near the gym and the bowling/bar place.
NOW I realize it is a dream because my first thought when I'm at destination is that Louis must be somewhere around his appartment OUTSIDE. He was indeed outside at the back of the apt. block, preparing stuff like a pool, plants and a tent. I say hi and tell him as a semi-joke that I could sleep in the tent whenever I wanted. He says yes. That's cool, I wouldn't have to bother anyone to sleep in Mtl!

I went to the front of the apt. There was a bigger pool and a deck leading to a door at the apt. (in my dream the apt block is totally different from reality). There was a few people around, talking. Then I thought I saw Louis but my mind decided suddenly it was in fact Fred going out on his bike. I don't have time to say hi he's already far.
I decide to go see Louis, but this time by going through the deck and apt. I was impressed I had no difficulties to move with my inline skates. I notice there's a lot more people inside and I recognize some relatives of my two friends. I look at a window that gives behind the apt but I can't find Louis. I decide to stay inside 'cause the sun's too strong. There's a blurry moment when I see Louis and he's telling me jokes, then suddenly my shirt is gone to reveal my swimsuit. I felt embarrassed.

Back in the apt, there's now quite a lot of people, talking, laughing, etc. It must be around 5 or 6PM. Suddenly some of them become ZOMBIES and are attacking the livings. Avoiding the zombies, I try to find Louis without success. I get out the fastest I can! I run to the street and find a WHEELCHAIR. I don't question my logical sense in my dreams but I needed one apparently. So I use it to get away. Maybe I thought it would be less dangerous to use the breaks on the wheelchair because I'm not yet able to break correctly with rollerblades *shrugs*.
While rolling away, I call Fred and tell him the situation. I turn on a smaller street and I meet a dead end so I break suddenly (my dream demonstrating me why I needed that damn wheelchair!). There's an old couple to my right. Because I'm on a wheelchair they think I'm old too and the woman starts talking... I wake up.

A common theme in my dreams is having animals talk back.

I'm not talking about Disney bullshit or anything like that. Simply, animals speak my language (whichever I dream of). It's never surprising or confusing. There'll be a cat and we'll have a normal conversation.

It's always like this with animals in my dreams and until very recently, I thought it was a pretty common thing for everyone. I was told otherwise!
I'm feeling good about the future right now..

I often have recurring apocalyptic dreams, ever since I can remember actually, when I was a kid I was mainly dreaming about dinosaurs bringing the apocalypse, now it's more aliens, parallel worlds coming together, I dream that I get stuck in places/environments that I can't get out of and I seem to always loop back to the same place or there's always something preventing me from leaving, and it's always weird worlds that look like they're straight out of an aphex twin video. I'm basically trying to get out of the place so that I can wake up from the dream and when I finally manage to do that, I have to stay up for a little while otherwise I fall back in the same dream. Sometimes I just dream that I'm in a bright, green field and puppies are floating down from the sky in bubbles and there's a few rainbows scattered here in there. Other times it's just a series of random events like my teeth falling out, or that whole flinstones selling pebbles for a snuff film thing was pretty ridiculous, nazi-vampire worlds, etc etc.
Dreams are fun.
I'm feeling panda tek mau-mau right now..

yeah I have had apocalyptic dreams too. In highschool, I had this dream where the world had been transformed into this post-apocalyptic wasteland. I don't know if the fighting had been between humans or humans and aliens, but it was just a barren wasteland with no people or civilization or trees or grass anywhere. It was like the whole surface of the earth had been scorched

So there I was all alone walking around wondering where the fuck everyone was. But the problem was, since there was no farmers left, all the livestock had broken free of their compounds and gone feral. There was this big herd of hungry cattle coming my way. They had no food and nowhere to go and were very wild. So I had to climb this dead tree to get clear of em and make sure they didnt trample me or gore me. So there I was all alone at the top of this dead tree trunk sitting on a branch, with a herd of migrating feral cattle moving past me underneath.

Then all of a sudden, I heard this crazy rumbling and the earth started to quake. All the cattle freaked out and stampeding. It was pure chaos, but I was still somewhat safe in the top of the dead tree. I looked in the distance, and saw this phalanx of incredibly gigantic Alien war machines appear on the horizon. They moved so fast, almost like jet speed, so even though they were very far away, they were approaching rapidly. They rolled across the land like giant tanks - each one must have been the size of several city blocks.

As they approached me, they were so incredibly huge and so full of some alien forcefield technology, that they were affecting the weather systems as they moved. . So as they closed in, the sky went completely dark and the sun disappeared, and now these huge war machines were all lit up from terrible lightning storms rolling across them. Then I woke up.

I have a very old dream that comes back a few times. The first time I had it I was around 6-7 years old, I was purchased by skeletons near where I lived in Marieville (on Chemin Chambly, is there a connection with my dream above? Who knows..). I entered my neighbor and childhood best friend's house. I hide in their bathroom and when I check outside it I find my friend and his family turned into skeletons also! I run away and my dream ends being chased by thousands of skeletons on the street.

Have you already had sleep paralysis? That's quite freaky!
The first time it happened to me was during an History of Art/Animation class on my first college session. I fell asleep while the teacher was speaking. When I woke up, I couldn't move a single muscle, not even my mouth or eyes! I was completely aware of what the teacher was talking about but I couldn't "wake up". I was totally terrified, but somewhat curious at the same time. It was so fucked up! It lasted about 5 minutes.
Since then, it happened like once or twice per year I think, but know I know what it is so I don't freak out.

yes! but only once when I was around 16 or so... I had a dream I fell off this narrow pipe thing we were walking on - I should have hit the ground in a couple seconds, but instead I kept falling and fallng faster and faster.. finally I hit terminal velocity, and objects were passing me by like streaks of light - like in Star Wars or something - and the wind was rushing in my ears

so - I woke up - and I lying in bed... but I am still falling - my body is pinnied to the bed by the g-force and the wind is still roaring in my ears... all I could move was my eyes. aside fr0m that I couldnt move a muscle - completely paralyzed

after what seemed like forever, the wind in my ears faded away and I was able to move.. scared the shit out of me.. I thought the dream would never end and it was permanent

I had noo idea what it was.. then in first year Psychology I learned that it was because the Reticular Activating System hadn't turned my muscles back on after I woke up. pretty interesting. it paralyzes us to keep us from running around and acting out our dreams =)

it's cool to read about it, but I'm very glad it only happened once
