But hey. What ever flaots yer boat:) It's called montreal rent is cheap and paying 500$ / month to live in a nice area is a steal. In most cities you pay that much to live in a slum. |

if you can afford it, and the place is not a ripped off for the price, why not! I live in psc aswell, im next(like i see it from my window) to one of the nicest park in montreal, and in canada. I have one of the biggest market at 5 minutes of walk of my door i live in a huge 5 1/2 for less than 850, and i can have a dog! My appartement have pretty much straight floor, like i don't need to cut the bottom of my doors to open them! and i have a bathroom where 10 people could stand and have a tea if they fucking want to! i can't see why no one would want to live in those conditions, even if it's in psc... i live at 2 minutes of metro Charlevoix, and in less than 15 minutes i can be anywhere downtown or in the old port i call that a win though being the neibord of mister Dialect, even if I dont know him (and since it's his thread), im sure it's priceless :P |

But for me it was way cheaper ,as a bartender, to be in the middle of all my jobs where i can walk maximum 15 min. of walk instead of paying 20$ taxi a night + bus pass evevy month. It depends of your lifestyle. And yeah 4 1/2 for this area is really awesome.I would have take it if i wasn't living in a 4800 ft square loft, A 4 1/2 is up to 1100$ in that area.. seriously |
