I can just imagine in 50 years everyone eating bio because the food industry will have an army of custom-made insects at their disposal ready to fight back natural ones. The farmers will spot some invaders, click a few buttons back at the grange and a few days later open crates for a carnage ; by then there will likely be nanotechnology so once the threat is gone he press the auto-destruction button. |
