Because Saturday May 15th Sketchy Labs is bringing you some of the best live acts 10$ can afford. That's right we're offering you all a chance to see some of Montreal's best up and coming live acts in an environment that is guaranteed to be completely original and well... just awesome. Don't let our production name fool you, this party will be anything but sketch. Expect: -Night of 100% Live sets -HUGE sound-system ( Seriously we have no idea how were gonna fit it threw the door :/ ) -Completely home-brewed never seen before deco -Crazy DMX Controlled Light Show -Visuals by VJ Purple Gandy -Friendly Security -Awesome Vibe -Of course last but not least the following Live acts: #1: Boyscout killers LIVE! (Electro/Live Electronics/Industrial) We have been stuck in this hellish place of forced believed comfort, surrounded by the monotony it's inhabitants ultimately wear. Government workers are seen flocking every street corner. Conversations about elastic fights that broke out in the Data Entry cubicles can be felt floating over the city, something like a bad omen. We live in a place which is brimming with people who smoke large quantities of weed and waste it on couch conversation. Derelict roads leading to no place of interest. One of us managed to get to the other side of the world, only to find out the situation was worse there. We are forever trying to keep our sanity the only way we know how. Nothing is guaranteed as Bad Chemistry is all about music that makes you feel as well as move at the same time. It's all about a passion for the experience. (Psytrance/Dubstep/Hardstyle) -Deux rognons en cavale prod.- E.T. est venu de loins pour vous faire danser. Utilisant plusieurs techniques de combats mystiques, il sera faire face aux démons de ce monde. Ces précédents combats, tel que la bataille épique du ‘’Gueguen’s Lunar Adventure’’,ou il défendait son peuple, l’a amené à investiguer des contrées plus lointaines. (Dark Full-on) -Psykonexus/20Hertz- Cosmic orgasm is a duo project from Orbit and 1.61805.They have started in 2005, sharing ideas and technique. By uniting computer and hardware generated music, they focused on doing an incredible and one-of-a-kind live act. (Full-on) -Creature Productions, Jester Records- The psytrance vibe is like nothing else in the world. I've attended many successful parties and I've learned what inevitably rocks a dance floor. My ultimate goal is to get into the crowd's mind and make every one stand up and dance; I've been lucky enough to be a part of great parties and I want nothing more than to help make the parties I perform at memorable and successful. I know that I can share the magic of music with any one I meet so long as their minds are open and their feet are ready to dance. | Coolness: 73125 | Alright guys, I've been up for close to 24 hours now getting shit ready, and all I can say is that this is gonna be one hell of a party! We're going to completely transform a brand new venue!
Speaking of Venue, it's going to be taking place at 3810 St.Patrick, but in a new loft (technically 2 new lofts) on the 1st floor. The entrance is also going to be on the back east side of the building, facing downtown. Here's the map for all you people using public transportation ---> [ maps.google.com ] As most of you probably already know it's a 15 minute walk from Charlevoix metro. Get ready I can now personally promise you all: -A nice new clean venue (Spent a whole day cleaning the place up) -A crazy sound system (has been used to power bain mathieu before) -Complete Lighting System (4 lasers , blacklights and Color L.E.Ds) -Video Projections by Vjs Purple Gandy, OtKun, and Prometheus -Completely original and just epic deco (It's going to take me 2 trips in a truck to bring it all) -Fully Stocked Bar -100% Professional Security -Tons of sofas in the chill out with a huge NES projection (Possibility of organizing a tournament) -Free fresh fruits in the morning -Last but not least, 100% Live Acts from Quebec and Montreal If at any point in the party you don't feel that any of this is true then you can take me out ninja style! Hope to see you all there! |
